Easy Cherry Salad Recipe & Playing with Color

Color-Enhanced Photo "Going Down the Drain"

I was fooling around with a rather colorless photo I took of water draining down the overflow pipe in our farm pond, and really like this effect, which you can see in this version of the photo. Check below the Cherry Salad recipe to see the original, and let me know what you think.

You can't get any easier than this recipe, and it's a hit with everyone and great to take as a contribution to dinner or a large pot luck. It's really more of a dessert than what you think of as a "salad." By any name, it's delicious!

Cherry Salad
1 (16 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
2 cups miniature marshmallows
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate before serving.
